Darcey Bennett

Darcey leverages more than 20 years of work as a business operations and change management leader to help organizations design and implement large-scale programs and processes that enable them to realize their most critical strategic goals.
Prior to her consulting work with SellingInnovations, Darcey spent fifteen years in strategy and operations leadership at two of the world's leading insights and advisory firms. At Gartner, she established and managed operations for major strategic initiatives across multiple business units and built a centralized operations function supporting the Research & Advisory organization. Before Gartner, she spent a decade as Chief of Staff to the Group President of CEB's largest business unit, serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership in defining, developing, and executing focused action plans to achieve strategic objectives.
Darcey has also held senior strategy and operations roles at two private equity-backed software companies. At RiskExec, a compliance platform for financial institutions, she led an operational buildout following a private equity carve-out, overseeing compliance readiness, systems transitions, and board-level reporting. At Ellucian, a higher education software company, she built out a newly formed Transformation Office and established governance structures for the company's largest transformation initiatives.
Darcey is a proud Smith College graduate. She has lived in the Washington, D.C. area for more than 20 years and enjoys traveling, hiking, and reading fiction. She also serves as a Registration Clerk with her local election office and co-leads a mentoring program for Smith graduates in the D.C. area.
