Marita Hansen

Marita Hansen is the Founder of Venture In Consulting, a sales training and leadership development firm partnering with some of the world's most respected organizations. With 14 years of experience in strategic sales, sales leadership, and commercial training, Marita has a proven track record of helping sales teams sharpen how they engage, influence, and win.

Marita's career includes a decade with Corporate Executive Board (now Gartner), where she led commercial teams in global markets, including senior account executive teams across the AMER and APAC regions. While leading the Sydney team, she helped take one of the company's weakest performing markets to its strongest in just twelve months. She later transitioned into sales training and development, building her reputation as a master facilitator and coach with deep expertise in consultative sales frameworks before founding Venture In Consulting.

Marita brings the credibility of someone who has carried a bag, led teams, and coached sellers at every level, paired with an energetic, engaging facilitation style that creates a welcoming learning environment and makes the material stick. She earned her degree in International Business from the College of Charleston and has traveled to 30 countries (and counting). Marita is based in the New York metro area with her husband Erik and son Warren.
